- Blackberries
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- Ice bath
- Wood skewers
- In a medium pot, add sugar and water and bring to a boil.
- Test sugar syrup by dipping a skewer in sugar and then directly into an ice bath.
- If it cracks when you bite it, it's ready.
- Skewer 2-3 blackberries and dip into the sugar syrup before transferring directly into the ice bath, not letting it touch the bottom of the bowl.
- Hold it for 8-10 seconds until set, remove and eat!
