Buns
- 1 cup + 2 tbsp warm water
- 2 tbsp active dry yeast
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 3 cups AP flour
- Salt (to taste)
Pickles
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup water
- Salt (to taste)
- 2 small cucumbers
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
Burger
- 16oz Wagyu (or other) beef
Burger Sauce
- 3 tbsp ketchup
- 1/4 cup chopped pickles
- Hot sauce (pinch)
- Salt + Pepper
- Lettuce (optional)
- Tomato (optional)
- Bacon (optional)
Buns
- To make buns, combine water and yeast and whisk together.
- Add vegetable oil and sugar, and whisk again.
- Let this sit for 5 minutes.
- Add egg, flour, and salt in a mixing bowl and knead about 3-5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Drop dough onto a floured board and cut into six balls.
- Roll into small balls and sit on a greased tray.
- Let the dough rest for several minutes and grind the wagyu.
- After resting the dough balls for 10 minutes, paint them in egg wash.
- Bake at 425 Fahrenheit (218 C) for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Brush the buns with egg wash again and add sesame seeds.
- Place back in the oven until seeds are set.

Pickles and sauce
- For pickles, add vinegar, water, and salt to a small saucepan and heat until sugar is dissolved.
- Pour over the sliced cucumber and let sit for 15 minutes.
- For special sauce, combine mayo, ketchup, pickles, hot sauce, salt, and pepper.
Burger
- Sear beef in ring molds to get perfect shape, then add cheddar and steam until melted.
- Slice and toast the buns in a pan.
- Assemble the burger to your liking and enjoy.
